Kim Kardashian Reveals Serious Health Scare After MRI Scan Detects Possible Brain Aneurysm
The first episode of the new season, which aired on October 23, showed Kim speaking openly about her health and how she’s been coping with the ongoing challenges in her life, including her complicated relationship with Kanye West.
During one of the scenes, the 43-year-old reality star shared that she’d recently started to experience psoriasis again, explaining: “I haven’t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back.”
“I mean, I have psoriasis again. I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect.”
Psoriasis is a long-term skin condition that causes dry, red, and scaly patches on the skin, often triggered by stress or changes in the immune system. However, as Kim revealed, this wasn’t the only health issue she’d been facing recently.
In another part of the episode, Kim spoke with her sister Kourtney about a recent hospital visit, where doctors informed her that they had discovered what they described as a “small” aneurysm in her brain during the scan.

According to medical experts at the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is essentially a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. It typically develops when blood pressure pushes against a weak spot in the vessel wall, causing it to expand outward over time.
While many brain aneurysms are small and harmless, they can be dangerous if they grow or rupture. Kim reassured her family that doctors described hers as small, suggesting that it wasn’t immediately serious.
Even though small aneurysms are often considered low risk, they can still become life-threatening if they rupture unexpectedly. This is why doctors usually recommend close monitoring and lifestyle changes to help prevent complications.
In one scene, Kim was shown undergoing an MRI scan on the show. During her appointment, she shared that her doctors suspected the aneurysm might have been triggered by high levels of stress — something she’s been dealing with for quite some time.
According to Supreme Vascular, stress itself doesn’t directly cause aneurysms to form, but it can lead to high blood pressure, which is a major contributing factor to developing or worsening a brain aneurysm.

Reflecting on her health struggles and emotional state, Kim opened up about the ongoing tension she’s faced with her ex-husband Kanye West, even years after their split in 2021. She said that these challenges have continued to take a toll on her peace of mind.
“People think that I have the luxury of walking away. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”
