Country music legend Reba McEntire and actor Rex Linn have officially confirmed their engagement, delighting fans across the globe. The happy news broke during a red carpet interview with Zuri Hall at the 2025 Emmys, where Hall referred to Rex as Reba’s fiancé. Smiling together, the couple shared, “We’re having a blast on Happy’s Place and so glad to be here tonight.”
A Friendship That Blossomed Into Romance

“We instantly bonded over living in Oklahoma and our love for horses and acting,” Reba shared. “He made me laugh, and we became really good friends.” By 2024, she hinted at the possibility of marriage, noting, “If that’s something he feels totally strong about, that’s fine with me. He’s never been married before. So, if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”

Rex echoed her sentiment, emphasizing that they’re in no rush to pick a date. “What we’re doing right now honestly is enjoying our engagement time,” he said. “We haven’t set a date — we’re just going to enjoy our engagement and enjoy going to Happy’s Place every day.”
