McEnany Shreds ‘Outnumbered’ Co-Host Harf For Denying Biden’s Decline

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany engaged in a debate with former Obama official Marie Harf on the Fox News program “Outnumbered” on Friday, challenging her assertions that Joe Biden remains “mentally capable” of fulfilling the duties of the presidency.

Numerous recent publications are illuminating Joe Biden’s health and cognitive decline throughout his tenure in office. One such book — “Original Sin” authored by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson — asserts that the former president failed to recognize George Clooney, a long-time supporter and Academy Award winner.

Harf conceded that she does not believe Biden should have pursued reelection, yet she continued to contest reports that question his mental fitness.

“What’s intriguing is that the quote you just referenced generally pertains to physical health. We all witnessed Biden’s physical health deteriorating before our eyes,” the former Obama official remarked, prompting McEnany, a former White House press secretary, to interject, “And mental.”

“Well, that is a distinct matter. I have not seen any evidence provided by a physician or another credible source indicating that Joe Biden was not mentally capable of performing the job,” Harf stated, to which McEnany retorted, “Did you watch the debate?”

“I did, but that pertains to a different issue, Kayleigh. That is not a mental issue,” Harf replied. “If we were to begin subpoenaing presidential doctors – firstly, there exists patient-physician confidentiality, which is a legal and ethical standard that safeguards both patients and doctors. Would you advocate for putting Donald Trump’s doctor under subpoena?”

“So you believe Donald Trump is in poor health?” McEnany inquired.

“I cannot ascertain his health status, but when I observe him on television and he forgets names, confuses details, and repeatedly makes statements that when Joe Biden made them, Republicans claimed he was mentally impaired. Donald Trump utters mentally impaired remarks daily, yet there is no reaction,” Harf replied.

“You are the last Democrat on planet Earth clinging to this narrative.”

McEnany is indeed correct.

Numerous other prominent officials from the Obama administration have already voiced their concerns regarding the severity of the situation under Biden.

This month, former Obama advisor Van Jones launched a sharp critique, accusing those around Biden of hiding his serious health decline from the American public.

During an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, Jones expressed his astonishment at Biden’s health and described the alleged cover-up by his senior staff as a “crime against this republic.”

“I was taken aback,” Jones remarked. “I have great admiration for Joe Biden. I had the opportunity to collaborate with him during my time in the Obama administration. My respect for him grew daily. I was stunned to witness his condition when he emerged, and so was the entire world.”

Jones referenced claims in the book indicating that members of Biden’s team were aware of his decline yet chose to remain silent.

“This wasn’t the first instance of him being in that state,” Jones noted. “The book clearly indicates that there were individuals who were aware and chose not to speak up. That constitutes a crime against this republic. I believe the Democrats will face repercussions for their involvement in what is now being uncovered as a significant cover-up.”

Former Obama aide and co-host of Pod Save America, Jon Lovett, confessed on Jon Stewart’s “The Weekly Show” podcast that he intentionally concealed his worries about Biden’s physical deterioration during the 2024 campaign.

Lovett feared that his criticisms could be weaponized against Biden.

He opted for silence to prevent “the words we’re expressing from being misinterpreted and suddenly becoming part of the case against Joe Biden from the right — which would utilize any critique from the left as a tool against him.”
