WATCH: Karoline Leavitt Reveals Trump’s Plan to Not Tax Social Security
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt recently highlighted the Trump administration’s intentions to eliminate taxes on various items, including social security. Leavitt praised President Donald Trump’s highly regarded plans, which encompass the removal of taxes on senior citizens, social security, overtime pay, and additional items. This initiative is being recognized as the most significant tax reduction in history for middle-class Americans.
In a statement to reporters, the press secretary remarked, “These are the tax priorities stemming from the Trump decisions that the President has outlined for members in today’s meeting. There will be no tax on tips, which is clearly a well-known campaign promise made by the President.” Detailing further, Leavitt elaborated, “There will be no tax on seniors, Social Security, or overtime pay, thereby renewing President Trump’s 2017 tax cuts for the middle class.”
Leavitt further stated, “Once again, these are the President’s priorities. Adjusting the SALT cap. Abolishing all special tax breaks for billionaire sports team owners. Closing the carried interest tax deduction loophole, and implementing tax cuts for products made in America.” She underscored that these cuts would be of unprecedented scale. “This will represent the largest tax cut in history for middle-class working Americans. The President is dedicated to collaborating with Congress to achieve this,” Leavitt asserted.
Last year, The American Tribune reported on a significant declaration from Trump regarding his tax strategies during an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends.” At that time, the President indicated that “there is a way” to completely abolish income tax. Trump referenced historical examples of more effective methods to generate revenue than taxing the earnings of diligent Americans.
