Legal Analyst Says New Report Proves Trump Was ‘Framed’ In Russiagate Hoax

A remarkable new report from the CIA has just validated what many have suspected for some time — that former CIA Director John Brennan and others intentionally sought to frame President Donald Trump during the Russia collusion scandal.

Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett articulated this clearly in a recent op-ed, supporting current CIA Director John Ratcliffe’s assertion that the entire operation was driven by political motives. Ratcliffe has recently published a report detailing how Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, and other political operatives from the Obama administration collaborated behind the scenes to incorporate the discredited Steele dossier into their 2016 intelligence assessment.

The Steele dossier, a collection of unverified allegations fabricated by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, was financed by Hillary Clinton’s campaign via the opposition research firm Fusion GPS. It has also been suggested that a significant portion of the fabricated intelligence was channeled through Bruce Ohr, a DOJ official whose wife coincidentally worked for Fusion GPS at that time.Jarrett is unequivocal in his statements. “The dossier was, of course, worthless. The FBI had largely discredited it even before Trump took office and dismissed its author, Christopher Steele, for providing false information as a confidential human source. However, the bureau concealed these inconvenient truths under then-Director James Comey and skillfully utilized the document as a weapon to attack the newly elected president.”

He asserts that Brennan, Comey, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper “conspired to tarnish Trump with what is undoubtedly the most unscrupulous maneuver in political history.”

The report indicates that Brennan even disregarded seasoned CIA analysts who raised concerns about the Trump-Russia link and obstructed other intelligence agencies from contributing their perspectives. Jarrett highlights a written caution from the CIA’s deputy director for analysis, which stated that including the Steele dossier would undermine “the credibility of the entire document.” Nevertheless, Brennan was indifferent. As Jarrett expresses, “The narrative crafted by the former British spy aligned with the desired political agenda.”

Ratcliffe expressed it succinctly: “This was Obama, Comey, Clapper, and Brennan making the decision that ‘We’re going to undermine Trump.’”

Furthermore, in 2023, Special Counsel John Durham determined that there was no link whatsoever between Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian agents. Currently, the FBI has initiated a criminal investigation into Brennan himself, concentrating on whether he misled Congress in 2019 when he asserted that the Steele dossier “was not in any way utilized as the foundation for the intelligence community’s evaluation.” Jarrett points out that Clapper made a nearly identical assertion in sworn testimony and could also be implicated in the investigation.

Since that time, Brennan has transitioned into a national security commentator at MSNBC, Clapper has joined CNN, and Comey has been profiting from books and speaking engagements.

None of them have faced legal action.

Jarrett concluded his op-ed with a cautionary note and a plea for accountability: “Unless those who unscrupulously weaponized their considerable power for political ends are held accountable, it will recur. Repeatedly. The sole remedy for lawlessness is justice.”

Former CIA officer Bryan Dean Wright has criticized Brennan for what he claims was a calculated attempt to manipulate the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment, the same document that was used to promote the false Trump-Russia collusion narrative.

Wright asserts that Brennan, who was the CIA director at the time, compelled the inclusion of the discredited Steele dossier in the ICA. However, the situation did not end there. Wright contends that Brennan also played a pivotal role in leaking the fraudulent document to the media just prior to the 2016 election. He is not holding back. Wright insists that both Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey should face criminal charges for their actions. Comey, naturally, collaborated closely with the CIA throughout the entire Russiagate saga.
