This New Epstein Fact May Annoy Trump Most of All

A new wave of information may be resonating more profoundly than any legal action or allegation against President Donald Trump: Jeffrey Epstein is gaining ground in online popularity.

As per Google Trends, the interest in Epstein—ignited by a shocking report from the Wall Street Journal claiming that Trump once presented Epstein with a drawing of a nude woman—has increased so dramatically that it is now competing with Trump’s own standard levels of attention.

In the past three weeks, as the Epstein narrative surged back into public view, the public’s interest has transformed into a digital fixation. For the first time during this renewed excitement, Epstein’s search interest has reached the 23rd percentile, placing him almost on par with Trump, who has remained in the low 20s—a notable decline for someone who thrives in the limelight.

“I’m not certain he escapes this time because it aligns with his character,” remarked author Michael Wolff. “They were close friends, and the gift aligns with the primary mutual interest they had: women.”

Searches such as “Trump and Epstein,” “The Epstein Files,” and even the incorrectly spelled “Epstien” have surged to the forefront of the trend charts. Although the Journal’s explosive coverage ironically also boosted Trump’s own search interest, the symbolic sting persists: he is sharing the spotlight with a disgraced sex trafficker—one who has been deceased for six years.
