700 Pound Tammy Slaton Reveals How She Looks After Losing 500 Pounds

Reality TV fans are in awe after 1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton unveiled her stunning transformation — and it’s hard to believe she’s the same woman from the early seasons of the hit TLC series.

The 38-year-old posted a new TikTok photo carousel Tuesday, showing off her progress since undergoing bariatric surgery in late 2022, followed by multiple skin removal procedures. The images start with soft, smiling close-ups before revealing the jaw-dropping full-length shot: Tammy standing confidently in a sleek black shapewear one-piece, highlighting the dramatic results of her more than 500-pound weight loss.

The caption, “I knew the assignment,” sent a clear message — Tammy isn’t just embracing her new look; she’s owning it. Fans were quick to shower her with praise. “Absolutely loving this era of Tammy,” one follower commented, while another admitted the post “brought a tear” to their eye, calling her progress “inspiring and amazing to watch.”

Slaton’s transformation has been a highlight of 1000-Lb. Sisters, where she’s openly discussed her health battles and triumphs. In April, she proudly shared that she had dropped from over 700 pounds to just 238.

“At my heaviest, I weighed over 700 pounds,” she revealed on the show. “Right now, I’m 238.” She even noted that some people were saying she looked smaller than her younger sister, Amy Slaton, who has lost 176 pounds. “That’s hard to believe. “It’s hard to believe I pulled that off,” Tammy said.

In June, she revealed to People that she had been approved for skin removal surgery — a milestone she’d been working toward for months. “I was overwhelmed with excitement,” she recalled. “I worked so hard for this, and now it’s finally here.”

Much of Tammy’s weight loss took place during a 14-month stay at Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. There, she underwent bariatric surgery, dropped more than 400 pounds, and even found love with fellow patient Caleb Willingham.

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony with about 30 guests, their home care nurse officiating. Sadly, their love story was cut short. Caleb passed away at 40, just months after their wedding. No public statement was made about the cause of death.

Tammy has spoken candidly about the heartbreaking day she learned of his passing, recalling how a friend first texted her that Caleb was in trouble — and then delivered the devastating news just 20 minutes later.

Their relationship had changed in the months before his death, Tammy admitted on the show, saying they had begun to feel “like roommates.” Even so, Caleb’s loss marked a deeply emotional chapter in her journey — one that makes her transformation all the more remarkable.
