Gabbard To Release More Obama Russiagate Files, Evidence Of ‘Years-Long Coup’

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has pledged to disclose additional information this week, following her significant declassification of documents that reveal “overwhelming evidence” indicating that the administration of former President Barack Obama established the foundation for the prolonged Trump-Russia collusion investigation after President Donald Trump secured victory in the 2016 election.

“We will be providing more comprehensive details regarding the manner in which this transpired, as well as the degree to which this information was concealed from the American public and from officials who could have taken action,” Gabbard informed Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo.

“Ensuring accountability is crucial for the future of our nation, as it is vital for the American people to regain trust in the integrity of our democratic republic. Accountability, decisive action, prosecution, and indictments for those responsible for attempting to undermine our democracy are imperative to prevent such occurrences in our country in the future,” Gabbard elaborated.

“I truly cannot comprehend” how special counsels Robert Mueller and John Durham overlooked evidence of this “prolonged coup against President Trump,” Gabbard remarked.

“There is no reasonable or logical justification for their failure,” Gabbard stated, adding, “The only rational conclusion I can reach in this matter is that there was a deliberate intent to obscure the truth regarding what transpired, who was accountable, and the extensive network involved in orchestrating this seditious conspiracy and who precisely executed it.”

Among other findings, Gabbard’s team discovered a September 12, 2016, intelligence community assessment stating that “foreign adversaries do not possess and are unlikely to acquire the capabilities to effectively carry out widespread and undetected cyber attacks” on election systems.

Recent revelations from the government’s investigation known as “Crossfire Hurricane” regarding the 2016 election, often referred to as the alleged “Trump-Russia collusion,” have brought to light a remarkable acknowledgment from senior officials of the Obama administration.

A newly declassified memorandum, made public on Friday by Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, indicates that U.S. intelligence officials determined that Russia did not significantly influence Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton.

The documents released by Gabbard serve as the most definitive evidence to date that officials within the Obama administration harbored substantial doubts regarding Russian interference, even as they continued with the investigation.

The memo, dated 2016, explicitly informed then-President Obama that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.”

While it acknowledged earlier reports concerning a potential breach of Illinois voter rolls and unsuccessful targeting attempts in other states, the memo clearly articulates that these efforts never compromised voting systems—and did not come close to affecting the results.

“The targeting of infrastructure not utilized in casting ballots makes it highly improbable that it would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote,” the document states. It further asserts: “Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes.”

This disclosure represents a significant vindication for Trump, who has consistently maintained that the Russia collusion narrative was a fabrication promoted by the Clinton campaign and Obama intelligence officials to undermine his presidency before it commenced.

Now, the focus is shifting towards those who propagated this narrative.

FBI officials are laying the groundwork for a potential criminal investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey, and others involved in initiating and conducting the Crossfire Hurricane inquiry.

According to a statement from current CIA Director John Ratcliffe, career intelligence officials assert that Brennan intentionally withheld certain aspects of the investigation from other agencies and actively advocated for the inclusion of the now-discredited Steele dossier.

This document inaccurately asserted links between Trump and Russian operatives.

A 200-page congressional audit has been prepared following a confidential meeting last weekend involving the DOJ and intelligence officials. They are currently considering the declassification of additional documents, including notes and transcripts from the Crossfire Hurricane investigation and special counsel John Durham’s inquiry, which concluded in 2023 that the Trump–Russia connection was unfounded.

Gabbard’s revelation seems to mark the initial phase of a wider transparency initiative.

Officials are also investigating whether Brennan may have committed perjury during his testimony to Congress, where he denied utilizing the Steele dossier in the intelligence community’s final assessment.

While the statute of limitations on perjury may have lapsed, officials believe he could still be charged with conspiracy to commit perjury.
