WATCH: Pete Hegseth Brings Out the Perfect Response to Demolish Liz Warren in Hilarious Senate Smackdown

In a remarkable response, Secretary of State Pete Hegseth effectively countered Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) when she attempted to challenge him regarding President Trump’s decision to deploy the Marines to suppress violent anti-ICE protests that have been occurring nationwide.

To provide context, as violent anti-Trump and anti-ICE demonstrations have affected numerous major cities across the country, critics have scrutinized the aggressive rhetoric from some Democrats, which may have contributed to this surge of lawlessness. Several Democrats have urged their supporters to confront President Trump, which has been interpreted by some as an incitement to violence.

Regardless, the disingenuous Democrat sought to ensnare Hegseth by asking, “Secretary Hegseth, if the President intended to send Marines to Chicago and New York City as he did in Los Angeles, would you execute that order, even if the local governors and mayors opposed it?”

In response, Hegseth asserted, “Well, Senator, since Governor Newsom was reluctant to ensure the safety of federal law enforcement agents in Los Angeles, President Trump had all the necessary authorities in the Defense Department fully support the protection of our ICE agents while they perform their duties.”

Continuing his powerful rebuttal, he added, “They have the right as Americans to perform their jobs without being assaulted by mobs, and we will ensure their protection in that endeavor. And if others require assistance, we would be ready to provide it. I trust you heard my inquiries.

In yet another effort to portray Hegseth negatively, Warren attempted to pose a question that would further her cynical DNC narrative. She inquired, “So you would be willing to send troops if the President ordered it to Chicago, New York City?”

Responding with confidence, the Secretary of State remarked, “Well, thankfully, New York City, unlike California, unlike Gavin Newsom, is prepared to confront the issue with local law enforcement. Take that as a guess.”

Still striving to convey her weak argument, the Massachusetts Democrat asked, “What if the President wants to send troops to 15 cities? Would you be willing to do that?” At this juncture, Hegseth began to show signs of irritation and retorted at the senator.

In reply, he stated, “Senator, I do not accept your hypothetical, because…” However, he was abruptly interrupted by Warren, who insisted, “That’s not the question. You’re the Secretary of Defense. Would you send troops to 15 cities? If the President said… [so] would you do it? 15 cities again?”

Somehow maintaining his composure, the former Fox News host replied, “Senator, it’s a complete hypothetical, devoid of … any context whatsoever. You’re [asking] this, and I refuse to confine myself based on questioning, on a hypothetical.”

Determined to pursue her unproductive line of questioning, the far-left Democrat asserted, “You’re here requesting a trillion dollars, and I want to understand how you plan to allocate it. Therefore, my question is, if Donald Trump instructs you to send troops to 15 American cities, will you allocate the funds and deploy the troops?”

Covering her down, he said, “Thankfully, we’re investing cash on securing our southern border absent. The past organization surrendered and permitted 21 million illegals to enter our nation. So protecting our country is a genuine, genuine need beneath this organization, and we’re doing this.”
