Liz Cheney Could Be In Trouble After Biden’s Autopen Use: Report

President Donald Trump has been vocal following the revelation that former President Joe Biden utilized his autopen to sign multiple executive orders and pardons.

In light of Biden’s deteriorating mental health during the final year of his presidency, Trump is raising questions about the authenticity of the signatures and their validity.

“The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden granted to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, among others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, due to the fact that they were executed by Autopen. In other words, Joe Biden did not personally sign them and, more critically, he was unaware of their existence! The necessary Pardoning Documents were neither explained to nor approved by Biden. He was completely uninformed about them, and those who were may have committed a crime,” Trump stated on Truth Social.

“Consequently, those involved with the Unselect Committee, who obliterated and erased ALL evidence gathered during their two-year Witch Hunt against me and many other innocent individuals, should fully comprehend that they are subject to investigation at the highest level. The reality is, they were likely responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!” Trump further remarked.

As highlighted by Townhall’s Katie Pavlich, “There has been no communication yet from those whom Biden pardoned, such as Liz Cheney, Hunter Biden, Dr. Fauci, General Mark Milley, and others, regarding whether the pardons will hold up in court.”

Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) took steps on Thursday to expose what he termed one of the most significant scandals in U.S. history—demanding access to sealed Biden autopen records after former Biden official Neera Tanden acknowledged that she had control over it for more than a year and a half.

Tanden, who held the position of Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, provided closed-door testimony to the House Oversight Committee on Tuesday. While under oath, she acknowledged that she was the individual authorized to utilize Joe Biden’s autopen from October 2021 until May 2023.

Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) recently identified five aides of Biden as key figures in what seems to be a coordinated attempt to conceal the president’s mental decline, with the autopen being central to this issue.

Tanden testified that not only was she permitted to use the autopen, but she also had the authority to direct its application. She denied any misconduct but revealed something astonishing: she operated the autopen without direct confirmation from Biden himself, as reported by The Washington Examiner.

In essence, Tanden appeared to indicate that she was signing official actions in Biden’s name without verifying whether he had approved them.

However, Schmitt is skeptical.

“I have initiated a first-of-its-kind action regarding the Biden autopen coverup,” he declared. “Exercising my authority as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Constitution, I have submitted a ‘special access request’ to Archivist Marco Rubio to acquire sealed documents. This may potentially expose the entire situation,” he stated on X.

“I previewed this action earlier today. The coverup of Biden’s mental decline represents one of the most serious scandals in U.S. history,” Schmitt elaborated. “A primary objective of mine is to ensure that such an occurrence never happens again. The only way to achieve this is to understand what went wrong and who was in charge of the country. With the documents requested, the subcommittee can commence efforts to develop a solution.

He clarified the legal basis for his action: “The ‘special access request’ is a clause within the Presidential Records Act that permits a congressional subcommittee to acquire historical presidential records essential for its operations, even if those records are not currently accessible to the public.”

“In light of Biden’s significant cognitive decline, there are substantial concerns regarding the legitimacy of orders that have been signed by autopen in his name,” Schmitt stated. “Therefore, I have sought access for the subcommittee to all Biden White House documents related to autopen procedures and their authorization.”
